Today 15 of us gathered at Pam's labyrinth on Deer Ridge Lane near Sequim to celebrate World Labyrinth Day. Events like this were held at labyrinths around the globe at 1 PM local time.
After calling in the directions and 3 poems/readings relevant to the day, we walked the labyrinth silently, accompanied by the soothing tones of Pat & Charles Mawson's crystal bowls and the soft beating of drums. As the bowls sang out, they were joined by an increasing number of wild songbirds in the surrounding trees - a truly magical event. Many thanks to Pam Bedford for sharing her sacred labyrinth with us, to Margot Hewitt for providing the calling in of the directions, and for all who joined in this special event. |
